Jennifer was born and raised in Kernersville, North Carolina. She graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology & Secondary Education. Jennifer is known by her friends as an extremely hard worker, highly motivated and compassionate to all. While attending college, she met her husband, Matthew. After years of watching the discipline and commitment it takes to manage his disease, Jennifer was inspired to start Cleans For A Cure. She hopes for a world without T1D, but until then she will work tirelessly to improve the lives of those living with it and inspire awareness for the disease.
Michelle was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. She earned her B.S. in Interior Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Michelle brings a unique approach to the the industry as an entrepreneur with experience designing commercial interiors, including medical facilities. Through this she has found a love for Crossfit and an almost strict Paleo diet - Which her husband sometimes follows. Michelle best describes herself with this quote: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do (Steve Jobs)." If Michelle could posses a super power, it would be to force people to listen more and speak less. "It is through listening that you are able to grow and learn the most. "

Amy was born in Texas but calls North Carolina home. She graduated from East Forsyth High School and went on to obtain her BS in Radiologic Science from Florida. She also holds degrees and National Certifications in Radiography, Computed Tomography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. She now works with the state of North Carolina to care for patients with cardiovascular disease. Her passion for health has now been coupled with CrossFit and Running. She has a wonderful husband, Justin, a beautiful little girl, Peyton and two fur babies, Chaps and Wrigley.

Courtney was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She attended Florida A&M University earning a B.S. in Health Sciences. Courtney continued her education at Temple University earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. After being employed as a traveling therapist for 2 1/2 years, Courtney took on a full time position and currently works for a home health company providing therapy in the homes of patients. With her background in the health industry as well as a love for CrossFit and overall fitness, supporting the vision of Cleans For a Cure was unquestionable.
